The Mallacoota Sustainable Energy Group (MSEG) was formed in 2011 to identify and examine options for a reliable, sustainable, renewable energy supply for Mallacoota.

At the heart of mission is our desire to see a totally renewable township leading us to adopt the new name and identity TRiM (Totally Renewable in Mallacoota).

TRiM is a small volunteer group committed to a totally renewable future for Mallacoota and district. There is a long history to this successful project. The short form follows. For years we have had to travel 5+ hours to participate in any Gippsland Community Energy activities. All roads led to the Latrobe Valley.
