Members of AusNet’s stakeholder reference group recently met for the first time, marking the start of a co-designed extensive program to understand and engage customers.
The nine stakeholder reference group members and Chair include ‘everyday’ customers in rural areas, to commercial and industrial customer advocates to those working with customers experiencing vulnerability.
During the next 18 to 24 months the reference group members will work alongside five sub-panels to discuss topics and issues related to future networks, electricity availability, customer experience, tariffs and pricing, and benchmarking.
Our coordinator has been appointed to the Stakeholder Reference Group and the Availability Sub-panel for the EDPR, giving her the opportunity to work closely with AusNet Services in the advisory role with the SRG, deeply into our energy reliability issues with the Availability sub-panel and keeping in touch with all the other sub-panels toward an outcome good for our community, small communities in general, and the environment as a whole to give us all a reliable, sustainable energy supply and service at a price that is agreeable.
There will be opportunities for significant customer engagement as part review. Our TRiM Coordinator is hoping that, if you are reading this, you will want to be involved in some way.
Our first step is to get your input as to what that way would be! How could we best get your input? What information would you like to have?
